Andrew Johns reported to Day 1 of Pre Season training to work with the members of the spine who started on Day 1.
Good to see Joey has stuck around for another season as there was uncertainty if he was or not. Will also be interesting to see what kinda effect he has in a covid free season. After the covid break in 2020 he wasn't in the bubble and was relegated to sitting behind a fence and wasn't able to be on the training field with the spine, but especially the 2 halves. Those circumstances effected Joeys ability to do the role he is employed to do, very little he can do standing behind the fence and not being on the field interacting with them day to day. NRL has already said provided Covid-19 community cases remain low there will be no bubble in 2021 meaning Joey can balance his Channel 9 commitments aswell as physically being able to train & work with the spine on the days he is at training with us. Will be interesting to see if Joey holds any different effect with no restrictions with how he can work with the players over the course of a full season

No your not Mon to. Your a good egg.
Not me Chuck! Joey (the 8th - ignore the drugs) Johns.
Raw or hard boiled?
I've been watching some Kayo Minis in the orf seezun.
Our right side attack is super easy to fix and blind Freddy can see it. The fact it kept happening just blows my mind.
When we go right, Moses runs at 45 degrees. This means every other player is doing the same. The defence slides and Fergo runs out of room. It happens all the time. It's so frustrating to watch.
Game against the Broncos we went right and Junior Paulo was at first receiver. He runs super direct before passing out the back. Guess what? Space everywhere and our outside backs run through yawning gaps.
If we continue to run overs plays we will continue to suck in attack. Fix this FFS. I'm so sick of seeing it.
Ive seen this as well Mutt as you say it happens 95 percent of the time . It's so predictable and the opposition know it and shut it down and that is the main reason Fergo had a very lean year . If us supporters can see this time after time why cant the powers that be and most of all the players fix it up .answer from me is . Stuffed if I know
Moses runs @ 45° most runs. I hate it with a passion. It's his go to play. Unless he fixed that he will never reach any potential people saw in him.
That's the thing though, when he arrived from the Tigers he ran at right angles at the defence, at pace. Somewhere along the line he has changed that.
Joey Johns wisdom no doubt.
Whilst I agree with you, if Mitch is running the angled line then the edge forward & centre have to run under Mitch rather than mirror his line. It's not all on Mitch, both Matto & Waqa have to be more aware.
