Another Rumor:
Parramatta management you will find in the next coming days might be making inquires about Joel Moon's current contract situation with the Warriors as the Eels are keen to find a replacement for Timana Tahu. Joel Moon has found himself in and out of the Warriors team in 2010 and the Warriors look to go into 2011 with the center pairing of Krisnan Inu and Jerome Ropati. Joel Moon might find himself even further away from the first grade team in 2011 but once again it will be down to whether the Warriors will release him.
I always thought Joel Moon had a talent but consistency was his problem. I don’t think this is the direction parra should be heading we have Loko and Walker competing for the vacant center position in 2011 but i will leave it to you guys would you be keen on signing Joel Moon if released.
This rumor that has been tossed around over the last couple of days.
Just throwing another name up there and that is the possibility of signing Titans superstar Esi Tonga this kid has great potenial and is a very good player but yet again the probelm is he is currently contracted to the Titans but i doubt he will get a spot in the Titans 2011 center pairing as the Titans already have a big stock of centers including Joseph Tomane, Clinton Toopi, Sam Tagatese and Steve Michaels very tight competition i think that the Titans will have Tomane and Toopi in the centers but i would be following up on the contract sitruations of the Titans centers hoping to snare one of them but Esi Tonga is the player i would have crack at if i was Paul Osbourne.
I would love to sign Esi Tonga if he became available.

what about Beau champion
hooray .. another wing/centre .. just what we needed.
Moon is a center / 5/8.
Remember when this dude first came into first grade for the Broncos he was their new prodigy and was supposed to be the long term replacement for Lockyer at 5/8th.
He is still only young and undeniably has talent, he actually reminds me a lot of Braith Anasta. But therein lies the problem, for mine he is a 6 potentially a 13 who can fill in the centres if needed. He is too talented with the ball in his hands/not athletic enough to be a long term centre option. If we signed him I wouldn't complain though he isn't going to solve our outside backs problem.
Its more than likely that he will be released if Joel Moon wanted if he got offered a good deal because i dont think he will be able to make the Warriors 2011 team. But he would be more than happy to return to australia you would think , but yet again i am not sure i am sold on this guy.
It's important to remember that just because a guy isn't likely to be in the first 17, doesn't mean clubs are in any hurry to release them. If they're earning $300k plus and sitting on the bench then maybe, but particularly in your halves, centres and props you want a lot of depth and you should ideally have another half dozen or so players who could be in that starting side.
I guess you would have the same opinon of Esi Tonga but i would defintley have a crack at signing Esi Tonga.
The reason Tonga is struggling to make first grade has been due to injury pretty much. Find it highly unlikely the Titans will release him.
Moon, don't want him he will be no better than what the club already has at the moment. Plus he is more a 6 than a centre anyway.
