  • Seems like a panic signing to me. 3 years for a bloke who has been inconsistent at best and is 27?

We already can see Greig can do a job, we have Matto and Hopgood and Junior and RCG already playing in the middle and teid up for the next few years.. Seems like a lot of money is tied up on middles which means there is no room for any up-and-comers to be signed or any positions available to motivate the younger players at the squad.

How about a hooker or an outside back who can make metres out of our own end?

    • Contract means nothing. He signed a 3 year deal with Tigers last year.

    • Appreciate the passion M-B and can see that you have been a bit once bitten twice shy with our recent signings, I respect that.

Let me try to shine some optimism here. He is experienced and hasn't been getting consistent minutes or playing well this year because he has been put on ice so that he could be moved on.

I think Sheens is a my way or the highway type coach and obviously didn't see eye to eye. He will be good. He was their Player of the year last year and I thought he looked very powerful in some of his showings this year.

There is room in the 30 too.

2025, we have about 20 guys signed.

    • BA loves his forwards. I don't think he has much idea on backs.

        • Does he ever talk tactics, strategy or back line set plays?

            • Barrett's been here for 12 rounds

          • Your a fucking moran.

    • Sure he's been inconsistent but in terms of potential, he would be better than all our bench forwards at the moment.

Just need a decent centre or winger. Would love to see Ravalawa on the other wing. Imagine the two big Fijians tearing oppositions apart!

    • His a great pick up it suits our game style/plan that power game in the middle. Another few backs will be on the radar for sure

    • He will get back to origin level
