Great for Matto that he's been selected in this game and to think 3 years ago he wasn't contracted to any team and was just playing for Wenty.

Well done Kelepi & Ryan. Looks like they preferred Ryan over Jackson Hastings who played a bit of NRL late in the season.

When you consider the amount of NRL talent who were eligible but more than likely not available or injured Walker, Brooks, Milford, Johnston, Mata'utia, Moeroa, Pauli, Moses, Cartwright, Trbojevic, Oates, Pritchard this seems to be an Australian B team rather than a best squad.

Regardless of player availability it is a fitting reward for two of Parra's best this year.

I wish Kelepi all the best in his tenure at the Cowboys while I am excited to see how far, within reason, Matterson can go in 2015.

  Tepai through injury and Pauli because he was picked in the Samoan train-on squad and I think he chose to play with them over playing for the junior Kangaroos.

The Junior Kangaroos side to face the Junior Kiwis this October has today been finalised, including two familiar faces from the Dyldam Parramatta Eels NYC side.

Eels NYC captain Ryan Matterson and forward Kelepi Tanginoa will both pull on green and gold jerseys for the Junior Test in Auckland on October 18, while their teammates Pauli Pauli, Kaysa Pritchard and Tepai Moeroa have been ruled out by medical staff.
