Jillaroos vs GB in Vegas

As I type this the Aussie girls are on track to win 80 nil. Surely that can't be good for the game and a complete waste of a time slot in Vegas.
What changes would you make to the Vegas day line up?
2 ESL and 2 NRL games?
I get they want the English fans involved in Vegas but surely this women's international game is not it.

  • Only really watched to get a look at Paige Travis, who is moving from England to play for us in the NRLW. was at the Pub for lunch and felt like eveytime I looked at the TV Australia scored again, was an embarrassing "effort" from England

  • It's dumb, waste of money that should be invested at grass roots,  trying to force the growth of the women's game is cringe. The whole Vegas thing is cringe to be fair. Nuffies like Cooper Johns on the " red carpet " like some celebrity, wait for it , wearing a NFL jersey whilst being paid to promote the NRL.  Knock it all on the head, including women's internationals.

    • I could understand taking the game to Canada to grow new fans....they even have the shits with the yanks but love contact sport. That would be for expansion,

I have no problem with Womens Internationals, just keep that shit behind closed doors, private style, until ugly things like 90-4 have been resolved...It's fucking embarrassing. Kids league stops keeping score long before that and so should they. Stop the game midway due to the ridiculous mis-match. Spare us.

I've been watching Canadian comedy "Shoresy" about life in hockey B leagues. Good stuff

      • Shoresy Seasons 1-3 is incredible. Season 4 not so much

        • I kina liked 4 Mutts..It got quickly, unexpectedly real....just like life. Not as funny though

Sudsbury hotties with the french accents do it for me

          • There's an impossible amount of good looking women in Sudbury.

    • They are making money on the gambling side, the media carry on about the exposure when it is futile.

Though the idea of moving it to Canada, the NRL won't like it as they are only in Vegas for the gambling. V'Landys pretty much said it when first announced that it is the biggest gambling market in the world and we want to cash in. Canada does nothing for them.

      • Gambling cash in sport is toxic kryptonite. Nrl leadership from a horse racing perspective, but kids don't put pics of racehorses on their walls. International gambling encourages match fixing.

Fuck the bookies, they don't actually give a shit about our game

        • But money talks Randy. From an article last year it was about certain American Betting companies wanting to get into Australian market and this was their way to do it as most of USA it is illegal to gamble.

          • Money may talk...but we can choose when to listen. NRL is not powerless or without other options. Some gambling money is gonna happen, but fuck bending to their will. They need NRL, not the other way around.

"I'd be sticking with Iongi at FB and Galvin for 5/8. We all know his manager is ruthless, and it's clearly just a ploy to get him it of his final contract year.
I'd have Cobbo on the wing, but I prefer Iongi at FB because of his ball playing ability."
