"Reserve graders or not, it doesn't really excuse the work rate for 50 minutes. Plenty of those reserve graders were playing for a contract."
"Big motor for a big bloke. It's the same with Tuivaiti, they both seem to keep coming with the ability to play big minutes. They'd both have to be 115kg plus. Not sure who the conditioning coach is but he's doing a good job on these young blokes."
"Almost the strongest side we could have named. Rorters have named a damn strong side so will be a good test for us. "
"Assuming he is coming back from injury the reason to play him in reserves is to build up his match fitness. Will get to play longer minutes in that match."

I reckon it was a case of how far his career has slipped since becoming an eel and watching his old team give it to us and finish on top of the ladder whilst the team he plays for finished last.
Been a long time since I saw a top grade quality footballer decline so much in form barring a injury. He is so far removed from the player he once was. Has to be matters outside football as well that has seen him decline so rapidly. Needs to be moved on ASAP. For his his health and the clubs.
I thought the same, paul.
I'd say there has been quite a lot happen behind closed doors this year that us fans are not privvy too.
A whole heap it seems.
Watching Jennings closely, he cant get into games, he has no free ball, he pushes passes that are not on, he gets frustrated when he drops balls, he looks to the ref every time he makes an error trying to blame it on someone else. This is someone that is not enjoying footy and not enjoying the aspect of life around footy.
For his own health and being , sometimes you need to reinvent yourself and move on. Appears that he moves on everu three or so years from clubs an plays great the first year at the new club as he re establishes himself at the new place.
Money is keeping him at parra NOT love.
He obviously doesn't want to be at the eels, but the extra 12 months in his favour on around 800k means he has to stay because he knows that if he tested the market other clubs wouldn't offer half of that.
Sometimes it's better not to chase the money and get your life back on track, just ask Hayne.
What about his brothers brilliant defensive effort against the Roosters. Was caught out of position all night
Kerry George : Yes, I noticed that. To do it once is regrettable but to do it again requires some explanation. Could it be that it was the instruction from the coach to come in and cut off the ball before it got to the winger? Some clubs adopt that procedure. George Jennings has been a fair defender in games previously. Or was it a ploy by Arthur to make Ferguson look good because he signed him for three years? I don`t think he is that smart!
