The Parramatta Eels are excited to announce that Jaydn Su'A has agreed to join the club on a three-year contract commencing in the 2027 season and running through to the end of 2029.
A powerful and hard-running backrower, Su’A brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the Eels’ forward pack. Since making his NRL debut in 2016, he has gone on to play 160 first-grade matches, establishing himself as one of the competition’s most consistent and physical edge forwards.

Parramatta Eels GM of Football Mark O'Neill welcomed the signing, highlighting Su’A’s impact on and off the field.

"Jaydn has a strong physical presence, he is a competitor who leads through his actions. He can play big minutes, defend consistently, and will be great for our squad."

“He’s built a reputation on toughness and effort, and we believe his experience at both NRL and representative level will add value to our group as we continue to build for the future.”

In addition to his club career, Su’A has performed on the representative stage, earning selection for the Queensland Maroons in State of Origin and representing Samoa internationally.

  • Just got the email. Good addition.

  • Great signing.

  • A very good signing.

  • I didnt see this coming

  • Great. Now re-sign Dylan walker.

  • I wonder if he changes to play left edge next year as a body guard for Lorenzo. Put Williams on the right next to Moses.

Was speaking to my mate that is a Dragons fan and he said that whenever Dragons win he is normally one of the best on ground but he does have a tendency to make errors at crucial times. Hopeflly he leaves that part of his game at Dragons. End of the day he is an origin level backrower so it is a good addition.

Resign Dylan Walker and Tuivita and look for outside backs and an elite middle on the market.

    • So you'd say the 6 is Lorenzo's jersey?

      • Chuck Burton a offer he can't refuse put him next to Mitch in the 6 jumper.

"For me Averillo walks right into a starting centre spot here purely because we have nothing else if we let that resonate for a second. The only real quality we have in the outside backs is Iongi all the rest is bog average.

"He's decent but nothing special. You could say his best years are behind him. Will be 30 next year so its not like he'd be in high demand. Not many fans were jumping up and down when he was announced ploppo.
When have you ever been right pop ?"
