Jason Taylor LOL !!! Go Manly

It’s been reported manly are seriously considering signing Taylor to replace Barrett after Michael Maguire knocked back 3yr lucrative contract. Would be a kick in the guts for manly stalwart like Toovey. Fuck I thought my club had issues.

  • Current assistant coach of the premiers, could do worse! Personally, I think he’s a bloody good assistant and will always struggle as head coach
  • Jason Taylor will not be going to Manly. He just signed to be the new Norths head coach 1 month ago.
    • I'd suggest any contract he might have signed with Norths would have a clause that allows him to pursue an NRL head coaching gig.

    • It would be terrible management from Norths if that were true. Having just started a new partnership with Easts, having your new head coach walking out before pre season even starts is bad.
    • Understandable clause.
    • He will have a clause steel that he can walk if he gets a 1st grade gig, for sure.

  • He’s a better coach than most give him credit for.

      •  Dr Wong : What evidence do you have that BA is a very good assistant? A report out of the Storm a year or so ago said that the players were glad to see the back of him. BA was an assistant down there. This was a media report, so must be taken with a grain of salt, but what is your evidence to the contrary?

  • What's more interesting is that Maguire knocked back the offer. Does he have something else lined up?
