thought I would add this story with the thought that FOR ONCE a player who played for us is not named in the media as "former Parramatta Eels player", as they seem to do for anyone in trouble with the law who even ran onto the field ONCE in the Blue and Gold !!!

Former NRL star Jason Smith has been charged with alleged cocaine trafficking.
The 42-year-old, who lives in Toowoomba where he owns a local pub, was arrested yesterday along with prominent local restaurateur Jason Wood, Fairfax Media reports.
Police say the pair trafficked 280 grams of cocaine between June and December last year.
Fairfax said Smith and Wood were arrested after a joint investigation by Queensland police and the Crime and Corruption Commission.
They are due to face Toowoomba Magistrates Court on February 11.
Smith had an illustrious rugby league career that spanned 17 years and included a premiership with the Bulldogs in 1995.
He also played 15 State of Origin games for Queensland between 1994 and 2000, and earned 15 caps for Australia.
Smith moved to Toowoomba in 2007 upon finishing his playing career with the North Queensland Cowboys.
