Maybe not you but many of the at least 150, 000 pre 2009 Eels supporters would care .
No I've supported hayne his whole career and i met him a few times when he was younger through a shared mate I can tell u I couldn't care less about his present or future.
That been said his on field exploits were unforgettable
Good and I hope he gets some decent and fair results.
Monto, he already has had a fair and decent result.
Monto mate I am banking on you being correct in your belief . I predict the conviction will be overturned but if not then the penalty will be reduced to time served or 12 months , whichever first occurs . ...... Meantime Jarryd will watch the Roosters play from his cell so different to watching them Grand Final night 2019. .....,,
I really hope things work out for him. I for one don't believe he did the things he's been accused of at least to the extent its been declared. He has continually claimed his innocence and yes he's been found guilty by a court but let's hope his appeal brings out more facts in his favour.
I think differently I think he is guilty y the letter of the law I think he thinks he's innocent.
Also think the sentence is possibly a bit to harsh
The appeal will test if there has been a miscarriage of justice, it is not a retrial.
You don’t believe he did these things, based on what? Were you in court to hear all the evidence? You base your opinion on what? Prayer? Direct communication with the old fellow with the white beard “up there”
The me too movement probably hasn't helped.
It's a bizzare case and a tough one to deliberate on. First jury couldn't decide and the second one found him guilt. That tells you straight away it could have gone either way.
It's not appropriate of this friends to be abusing the young woman on social media though.
Yes and he never seemed to have a regular partner and perhaps dating smarts - not making excuses but jarryd has always had weird social communication skills. As a mum with a child with asd I've wondered if he has had minimal social skills
whatever he has done the wrong things
