The only persons who know if Hayne was guilty or not are the two in the room but IMHO the verdict was an abomination as was the conduct of the trial judge.
I'd be absolutely flabbergasted if the Court of Appeal doesn't at least order a retrial at the very least.
People should understand that FH is a retired Judge.
People can argue about guilt and innocence, I personally do not believe either party was guilty or innocent, Hayne was most certainly guilty of stupidity.
Anyway as FH says the trial was an abomination and there was no way that Hayne was ever going to get a fair trial, The same can be said for the St George forward who had an even more blatant decision when it comes to a lack of fairness.
Anyone that takes a jury trial in this day of social media has rocks in their head, and of course some of the magistrates and judges out there are actually dumber than the jurists.
If he is acquitted then their needs to be a lot of soul searching done.

I know this may shock a few but I was never Haynes biggest fan. But I will admit he didn't get a fair run with this case. He was trialed by media and a very bad time for any man who fronted the courts changed with as much as looking at a female sideways .
He was found guilty of stupidity and sadly I'm not sure he will learn a lesson.
