After struggling to recapture his 2009 form, Hayne returned to his best in Origin III to give Eels fans hopes he can lead the club to another finals surge.
But while he remains the clear focal point for tonight's must-win clash with the Cowboys, Hindmarsh warned the side cannot rely on the brilliant fullback.
"It's not all up to Haynesy," Hindmarsh said. "I think we've been guilty in the past of leaving it all up to Haynesy to do something magical, but it's a team sport and we've all got to put our hand up to say that we need to do a lot better than we're doing at the moment."
