Although very heartening to read this. Can any journo really be trusted these days? A couple of them, Wilson and Weidler have ruined it for every other journalist who wants to tell the truth. But hey truth doesnt sell papers or get ratings.
The Tele cops some bad wraps but Walshaw is among their top 3 journos - and yes, I understand there's an intense dislike for Tele journos across the board.
Most of his pieces are pretty close to the mark in terms of accuracy and he doesn't mud sling for the sake of it. He's a good bloke as well.

I believe he's on a rolling contract type of deal.
So for as long as the club want him on board overseeing the salary cap and everything to do with it, he's happy to continue in the role he's in.
And agreed, he's running a tight, fair ship, that is paying dividends for this club.
