James Maloney and Bevan French

Not sure if this has been posted as yet. Sorry if I’m rehashing old news but Just read from a twitter feed from the Tele that James Maloney’s days at Penrith may be numbered. Would Gus be interested in a straight Maloney for Norman move? I think that Maloney would help Moses to find his full potential and may be a good combination with Moses.Also read that the dogs are keen for Bevan French....

Agree, maloney would be a shit load better than salmon and give French to anybody that wants him.

  snake maloney has been made a huge offer from the super league in england and wants to go there on a 3 year contract ,it seems the money on offer better then panrith, all hes contracts so far better then the last one.
  
  so it likely he may leave penrith after this year, but not sacked....

  Fair enough Chief. Just relating something I read. Good luck to him at the Titans. I for one think that the Titans are a team you go for your career to die but that’s just my humble opinion.

  Makes sense. I know Michael Gordan was a mentor for Bevan. No doubt he played a role.

  That would be a strange move. Titans coach has already stated that Brimson is their long term fullback so i can't see were French fits in. Also talk of Gordon going around for one more season so that would leave French as a backup player as Don and Sami have the wing spots sown up.
  
  I am not saying it won't happen but if it did I can't see how French fits in.

Maloney would be a good pickup if we could get him. He could mentor Moses on how to manage and close out a game and do the same for any other young halves rhe Eels have coming through.
