  • Fucking terrible news and puts things into perspective, blessings/thoughts to James and his family.

  • Absolutely - this life we have is always tenuous.
  • Terribly sad news, puts the Foran and club rubbish in prospective.

Condolences to his family and friends.

  • Condolences such a tragedy, does anyone know if this was concussion related? I've been really annoyed at times with this issue especially with Ryan Hoffman recently. It's sad that sometimes a win and a players health can take priority.
  • On a day where a contract issue has become a major focus for many of us, this sad news has been pushed to the background. No words can express the tragedy of a young father losing his life playing a sport he loves. My condolences to his loved ones.
  • This is tragic news, my condolences are with his family and friends during this time.

On a side note, how many kids and men have died in the past 24 months playing rugby league. This seems to be a growing and worrying trend.

  • my deepest condolences Very sad news.

  • How many young men have lost their lives playing this great game in the past few years? I thought I heard of someone else passing away a few weeks ago? Then another guy a couple of months back. It's all lower grades, so not much is made of it in the news.
