Well although he isn't high profile he is in top form coming to the club. Who knows, we may have jagged a really good half? Looking forward to him going through the off season to see what happens. He is coming here with the opinion he is good enough for the NRL and its great to see competition for spots.
We've got heaps of NRL clubs clammering to sign NRL quality halves, halves are the most highly sort after position.
The Fog is running around up there and we got him without any competition for he's services, that just seems a bit strange that everybody could see this bloke and he's not that young, and heres eels fans saying he's the answer to our number 7 drama and talking him up big time, many saying and thinking he should and will be our run on half.
If thats the case why did Brad come our after we signed him and state we are looking for an NRL Quality half and if we can't find one this year we will go with Gutho?
All I've been saying is it would be unwise for any nrl coach to put their eggs in the basket of a guy like this.
Halves are snapped up real quick as teens these days, why is this bloke still floating around to be such an easy buy for us.
Im not saying he can't play, i believe he will get 1st grade time this year with our lack of a 7 and might even go well but I'm a bit confused as to why eels fans are rating him so high, I've watched the highlights, he goes ok but i saw nothing to lead me to believe he's special.

Agreed over the years any half with potential has gotten us over excited. Remember when we got kelly from Melbourne and thought that was a great signing.

Please - give him first shot at the number 7 next year!! A good solid halfback and goalkicker who would allow Corey Norman to weave his magic..
