Love grand final day. One of the reasons is i get to see the best of the lower grade players. When Jamal first went to parra i didnt really get to see any of his games and as a result he was just another never was. I watched a few Wynum games this year and he stood out head and shoulders above anyone else on the field. In the final versus newtown he was by far the best player on the park. A natural half, quick enough to play at fullback and stocky enough to play hooker. During Sundays Newtown Vs Wynum game he outplayed younger Brailey who we offerred big coin to this year. I understand they play different positions and there is an age difference (Fogarty is 25) but i rate Brailey the younger as a talent and it shows me Fogarty is a first grader. Maybe the gold coast are going to use him next year but he didnt get a single chance this year. This tells me they wont. We should offer him a contract. He is a massive upgrade on Will Smith who is our current first drop reserve half. And if no one else is using him we should be.

Forgaty is at the top in the intrust cup, but would again fail in the NRL. He carries to much weight and the game is to quick for him. Have watched him a lot this year and there are bad mistakes and decisions in him.
Perfect example yesterday 54 seconds to go Bears leadin he runs the ball on the last tackle, smarter half would have went for touch, that decision cost the Bears the game
Through the year he made some ordinay plays, but YES at cup level he is a champion and would be a good buy as a back up half.
That was a bad last decision. And im not saying he s the second coming of Allan Langer. But id rather him than Will Smith or that other kid who was playing half for wenty as our reserve half.

There is a guy running round at the Corrimal Cougars under 15B’s that was dominating his opposition every game . He’d be an awesome replacement for Mau .
