Jakey and hodgo

I know a number of bloggers or should I say floggers all like bagging the players and the team on this site and you no who you are. The thing is you would win lotto and find a reason to complain. I feel sorry for your families putting up up with you.

On a brighter note, I was happy to see both young Jake and hodgo play well the other night, we are to critical of both these boys and think they should be given a break from the keyboard bashing on this site. Most if not all wouldn't have laced on a boot let alone know and understand the play. Lay off.

  • Onya . Thanks Diggsy . You have my vote .

  • You can boo and not be happy about certain players that's all good it's when fans take it a step to far go over the line.Personal jibes on social media and taking pot shots from the stands is over the line imo.

  • Hodgo is playing like he is 25 and hasnt had any knee problems...his style does not suit the way we play. He is now way too slow to make runs and he always shoots out of the line in defence. The experiment has not worked.

    • I think that is a good way of putting Fiddy, it was an experiment.

  • Hodgo was never the answer though he was the bridge to the next guy.My biggest disappointment is the lack of in game leadership. When the teams been under pressure him and our senior players have gone missing.

    • Poor Hodgo is really trying hard out there. He's giving 110% no doubt about it and because of that he's playing under fatigue. That's very tough to make good decisions, keep the talk up and see opportunities when you can barely breath. Agreed he was never the solution but we do need more/ better from our 9. In attack it's just not working. This team has never played with a hooker who takes steps out of dummy half. All it's doing is taking time away from the first receiver.

        • Agree Brissy but BA is very slow to adapt

        • What's missing is the 9 has to be a genuine threat. If he's not a threat, the defensive line definitely does not stay stationary and all that happens is the first receiver recieves the ball with the defensive line in his face. Watch when Hodgo takes steps out of the ruck. It's very rare that the defensive line reacts at all. If he had some genuine scoots it would change everything. I hate to say it, but he doesn't fit this team and I can't see him ever fitting.

            • In TCT pre-season reports they said many times JH would put a forward into space with his ruck trickery and engaging markers. Idk wtf happened.
