Jai Field and Bevan French

It is reported that Field has agreed to join Wigan Warriors whilst Bevan French seems to be attracting a few NRL clubs. Personally, both players are made for the super league given that its a really attacking brand of footy. Both are very similar players with great footwork, speed but also very light and questionable in defense. We won't sign French given our history of him being too weak and small for fullback. I think Field is a good enough player for reserve grade and than fill in for Moses, N Brown or Gutho if they get injured but if he can get a starting role anywhere else, I dont blame him for leaving.

  • Who will then be next in line? If Mitch Moses has injury hassles who replaces him?

    • Salmon or rankin in my opinion with Gutho stepping up doing the playmaking like he did against the cowboys. Hopefully Brown has also developed his game and can take more responsibility. Full faith in those 2 personally.

      • I dont think any club will want Blake green. I don't know what round he will be available next year cause the nrl schedule will be different. If he is back by rd 10 next year latest he maybe a decent back up halfback.

    • Ba will use his son .

  • Both are bums, weve been much better without French.

  • I woud sign French for wing only. Take ir or leave it Bevan. At correct price.

  • Past is just that. We have moved on.

Only sign player's that are better then what you got and that have already left.

  • The dogs should sign Bevan. He'd be cheap and worth the risk.

  • I would take French on a second tier contract. Can provide back up in teh halves as well as wing/fullback. Better than what we have at the moment for cover.
