Jacob Gagan debuts

I think it's worthy of its own thread but Jacob Gagan, who is only turning 17 this year, will debut for the Eels NYC team this week.

Gagan, who also made Australian school boys this year, is another incredible talent we have coming through the club.

He has played fullback, wing and centre at junior level and I'd be willing to predict now that he'll take Luke Burt's place on the wing in the couple of a years.

  • He's definitely a gun. One to watch but he may be one that slips away.
  • no doubt by that time we will lose him too
  • Also Tepai Moeroa, from Harold Matts. The kid is a gun and will probably play in NYC in 2012
  • My tip for big things from Harold Matts is Kelepi Tanginoa. I've never seen a player of any age group that was so difficult to pull down.
  • He's kicked for his school. But Jason Wehbe was the SG Ball kicker this year.
  • He's definitely a fantastic young player with a load of potential.
Wouldn't be surprised to see him in the starting side within 2-3 years.
Only saw him once in action, and he was very very good.
That was towards the start of the season though.
  • In 2 or 3 years he will be another junior gone
