Summary:
Jack de Belin, the Dragons' longest-serving current player, is set to leave the club at the end of the 2025 season to join the Parramatta Eels. The 34-year-old has agreed to a deal for 2026, with Parramatta holding an option for 2027. The contract is currently in the NRL’s 10-day cooling-off period.
De Belin, who has played 242 games, was close to becoming the most-capped Dragon in history. Despite being in talks for another contract extension, he will now reunite with former teammate Zac Lomax at the Eels. A mid-season switch before June 30 is unlikely due to the Dragons’ lack of forward depth.
A consistent performer, De Belin played every game last season and has not missed one this year. He is the last Dragons player remaining from the Wayne Bennett era.
His departure comes amid a broader roster overhaul at the Dragons. Tyrell Sloan, Blake Lawrie, and Mikaele Ravalawa may also leave, while several forwards, including David Klemmer and Michael Molo, are off-contract.

Haha , doubt it . Webkes got a job.
I wonder if Ryles thinkin to lure Da Silva as 6? He could play that givin his got a kicking game, crisp passing and runs alot
Nah it would be for Hooker. He's chased a Hooker since he got to Parramatta.
Why the hell are we signing a him at this age?! Reminds me of the shitshow watmough signing!
Nothing wrong with the idea of the Watmough signing PP, it was just that he was totally broken down. What reminds you about the De Bellen situation that's similar.
our engine room is old as ...Jr and Debelin hmmmmmmm
Age shall not weary them or the years condemn.
PS. Have you noticed how Pappilli is going at Canberra
PS 2, I would not have RCG back if he called us for a job, its about horses for courses. RCG would not be able to do the job that we want De Bellen to do. I loved RCG but he has had his day in the balance of our team.
PS 3, I would have Salomona the monster from Melb, he is the enforcer we need, More about horses for courses. He is only on for 30/40 minutes a match....him a Junior could share the role.
JDB has been 1 of the best defensive players over the last 20 years. His durable and keeps himself in shape. Can ball play a little bit too. Hopefully we land 1 of the bigger middle forward targets in Tino or Carrington.
I think the biggest benefit to this signing is that it pushes jack williams to an edge
Start signing! We'll done Jason and Eels HQ.
