This blog would typify an orff season blog
Most players at all clubs end up with tag or nicknames, some easy to see where they come from but others not so.
With the eels off season training well underway, well two weeks so far, and things look good watching the eels training galleries all the players are looking good but was thinking about what tags are players given.
So not knowing a lot, my thoughts are for these players may suit.
Tim Mannah. Brow as in the eye types.
Ken Edwards Hammy, based on his troublesome leg problems
Manu Ma'u Snake eyes Oh that star he gets, as he's ready to pounce.
Alex Twal Wolverine a profile that looks much like Hugh Jackman in the Xmen series.
Bevan French La Petite` Small and well groomed
Semi Radradra Dark alley- would not want to be on his wrong side and meet in such a place
Tepi Moeroa Shot put his other sporting attribute.
Perhaps for our esteemed coach and the team.
Mrs Brads boys
Feel free to add to the list.
