It's one of those weekends!

Well so far we've seen some upsets/unexpected results, the Cowboys beat the Titans; the Raiders smashed the Broncos; both the Roosters and Warriors are doing quite well and looking like victors in their respective games despite not being favourites....we're playing one of our bogey teams, I hope this isn't one of those weekends for Parra too! Come on Boys, fire up and keep keeping on! Let's see another sustained performance for the 80 minutes :D

  • definatley agree
though other than the cowboys winning this weekend has bin a good one for us with penrith, brisbane and the knights all losing and i dont give the tigers or souths much of a chance in their games
  • Yeah, you are right mate. Make or break weekend. We could make some serious inroads on the competition ladder or we could slip back with the wooden spoon brigade.

This is a huge test. There is plenty to play for, but do we want it bad enough? This has been a problem for the last 3 years. Neither Smith or Hagan could get the team up to win these must win games against lower ranked teams. We have almost always lost these games with barely a shot being fired.

Time to be be ruthless and committed. There is plenty to play for and there are teams above us with their wheels falling off big time. It's all about attitude. We know the Sharks have limited ability but they will definitely turn up. If we do so, we will win.
  • panthers tied with warriors
    • I hope we get out there and rip into em for 80 minutes..... Or will we be disappointed like usual.
  • Roosters win over the Newcastle at Newcastle is interesting given we play them next week! Not sure if its a good thing or a bad thing.

I think in the end what it shows is you just have to worry about your own performances. You can do the ladder predictor a thousand times and still not get anywhere near how the ladder is going to finish up.

Would have liked Warriors to have held on!
  • could be the week the Leauge gods are shinning on the EELS,
  • dragons won so there not all going to be upsets
