Its a Joke

Yes, the amount of players that we have been close to snaring but haven't is a joke. Yes, the club is doing the right thing by attempting to lure a top class No.7 to the club as well as a strike centre and a No.9 but the amount of press and rumours from "reliable" sources on this forum is a joke. I for one am over it.

What's the rumour summery so far?, I think its;

Thurston - WONT happen.

Orford - this is now officially a saga and he will most probably end up at the Raiders as they now have the money to spend.

Gower - was never going to happen.

Sherwin - are we his retirement plan?

Blair - what happened to this rumour?

Cronk - ha, please.

Anasta - again, ha, please.

Tonga - as it has come from Weidler this has substance but he will probably end up with the Broncs as they have the cash.

Cooper - yes we were close and I believe he is the best play making chance for us (from 2012).

Luke - I would love him at Parra but please, why would he leave the Bunnies at this stage?

We will "have" to settle for a best 2011 team of; Hayne, Burt, Reddy, Tahu, Grothe, Mortimer, Robson, Maitua, Smith, Hindmarsh, Moimoi, Mcguire, Mannah, Mitchell, Shackleton, Webb, Poore.

Then hope for Quade Cooper in 2012.

dont forget horo in there somewhere. he has to be there.maybe maitua at 6. played there plenty of times at the dogs and did well. but maybe cos he is coming in late it would disrupt things but its an option. id put reddy on wing and put ben smith back at centre like a beau scott type and put horo in the back row. grothe can play his guitar.

I'd say in reality the club hasn't seriously been linked to over half the players you've listed. If you hate rumours, ignore them.
