It takes more than 1 to get it done...

There is no doubt that the news of Haynes defection to the Titans has come as yet another blow in what can and will be described as the most horrific year in the history of any sporting club in this country.

However i pose this....

In all of Haynes glory he failed to bring one thing and that is a Premiership.

I will never doubt that he is a generational player but the true greats find a way to get it done.

This is a proud club that other than the Super league war when we got the 'big 4' from Canterbury we have always looked for the next 'Sterlo'.  Not always a half but a player that would be the prodigal son that would deliver us glory.

When Sterlo was around and as great as he was he had, Kenny, Ella, Cronin, Grothe just in the backline....

Lets move forward and accept 'it is what it is' and build a club where everyone does his job.

Lets usher in the next generation of Haynes, like Bevan French and for once hold onto our great juniors and aim to build a dynesty.

Thanks Jarryd for your efforts over the years, but NO ONE PLAYER IS BIGGER THAN THIS CLUB, OUR CLUB!!!

"The PNG national squad always does OK, plus the grassroots are already established. Plus, the entire country loves the game. I'd be more optimistic of PNG fielding a compettiive side over Perth. "

"Need way more than that, majority of the players signed would be their depth. Even that is rubbish. As Johnny mentioned too, juniors will be hard to come by.
