Sitting here in my living room and thinking back to all the highs and lows of being a parra supporter. As a kid, watching my team win grand finals and thinking it would always happen, as a 25 year old watching from behind the posts as my Eels lost a GF they had no right to lose and having to travel back down the freeway to Newcastle surrounded by knights fans living the dream. 8 years later I sat in the corner where Fui scored "that try" and I hoped it might all change, only to be disappointed again (doubly when the news of the cheating broke). Watching every game through all the lean years, living on pure hope that this day might come again. I couldn't get tickets this year as I wanted my whole family to be with me the moment the curse is broken, but we will sit in the lounge tonight and cheer the boys on with all our hearts. It's time for the witch to die again! It's time to put the past to rest!
