I've been balling for what seems like an eternity over the NRL's findings and am completely devastated. The main concern I have for the club is the idea of the following.

Calls to boycott watching Eels games

Calls to not turn up to Eels games

Do these fans think these dumb ass ideas really help to support our playing group not to mention you're fellow fans? End of the day it's the fools in the administration who have stuffed up knowingly which they did a shit job at cause it's not like we gained any advantage from it.

What will the playing group be playing for if we simply stop our support, if you're a fan that feels strongly for the Eels you'd keep watching, keep turning up to games...infact the best way to keep the team intact would be to fill Pirtek at every home game.

Running away from the Eels helps no-one, look at the playing group we have now, they enjoy each others company, and they genuinely want to be part of the Blue & Gold. So lets move forward, get the cap right, & rid the dead wood.

Our Season starts NOW!

" I understand the modern day theory.  It has to be the players that would work in the modern day game,  But the theory should include how a player from the say 80s would perform given the modern day technology and training regime.

"Sorry should have clarified, 1998 NRL era.
I stuck to what i knew best. I love Luke Burt, still my favourite ever player, hence the dp. He didn't have that flashy skills like Hayne and was undersized but to accomplish 260+ games is an achievement…"

"Can you define what era / year your modern day starts from.
I took Jarryd Hayne on your survey, but I also loved Luke Burt as a team man. Luke Burt reminded me so much of little Paul Taylor, did so much work but never got the credit he deserved."
