Now that we are two weeks away from the NRL season starting the so called experts in the media will be telling us how the season will play out. Their predictions will change weekly due mainly to the fact that they really have no idea how it will play out and all they are interested in is fulfilling their commitments for the week. As an Eels supporter I do honestly believe we cop a bit of extra flack from the media even though we have been going pretty well for a few seasons now. We have the biggest and BEST membership numbers which mean there will be more people to read stories regarding the Eels than other clubs so you would think the media would want us as allies but no, Many of them take cheap shots every chance they get. Now remember the middle of last August after an ordinary month footy for the Eels this appreard on the Fox Sports League Main page.
Believe it or not even though James Blooper has done a number of these since, it is still on the main page. Is this by accident or is there more to it.
I can't stand hoops and there are a few more that really get under my skin but I thought why not have a bit of fun with it and point out The Experts shortcomings.
