"Randy, An interesting one.
I suppose coaches trust certain players or believe they're the best fit for the team, even if club form or a high minute count aren't there.
I'd choose you for x-factor even if you only had 5 minutes of form."

"Hoe, I dislike the idea that a player can be selected for Aust with only 480 club minutes on show...and not all of them good. How can he have form without playing?
Perhaps a rule that said 10 nrl games to be eligible for Aust would help everyone"

"Wiz, We definitely need to be higher up the ladder in finals footy.
Like Ricky Stuart, Ryles seems happy to show the door to a player not buying in.

"What's the point of being motivated to be better by playing rep footy and then losing that motivation by spending the footy season on the sidelines injured and letting your club and teammates down? Playing for your team should be motivation enough…"

It is funny how little things make such a difference. I bring to your attention the unbelievable amount of close games we have had and how had we won some, our confidence would be higher and there is every chance we would be talking about semi final football. In these games, for the most part we have been in a winning position and then one mistake has cost us dearly. Whether it is a conceded penalty, dropped ball or rotation error, this indiscretion has ultimately led to our defeat in that game, a diminishing of our confidence and the psychology of losing rears its ugly head. While we spiral out of control due to these little mistakes, our opposition, whether through desire, experience or whatever capitalise and go on to win.
We are so close to success, it's palatable. We too, however are a million miles away. How we deal with adversity in games will determine our success.
