Waited all year for parra to play in Brisbane and probably there worst performance of the year defensively. That on the back of going to the second origin game in Brisbane. Not a good year for a parra and nsw fan in qld. Bring on 2017.

  • Broncos had massive assistance from the refs and our boys simply could not withstand the pressure.

Of course the Broncos are going to look good under those circumstances.

I am wondering just how far forward the Broncos are allowed to pass the ball before ir gets pulled up.

Seems they have a 2 metre exclusion zone.

  • I don't think the Broncos were that good. The Parra boys are tired, they've battled hard all year it had to catch up with them eventually. I think the storm will embarrass them in a couple of weeks!
    • Let's hope so. Only thing that comes close to a parra win is to see the broncos get pumped.
  • Seriously sick of all you blaming the ref's and crap. Plain and simple we just didn't have the team to compare to the bronc. The quicker all you knobs and ba realises that's for next year the better.
    • We need to recruit our ass off to get a quality team up there for next year. We don't have the depth coming into next year and missing players in key positions.
  • I don't think broncos will win the comp. I know 10 years ago they had a slump but when they won their next 2 games after their slump they beat dogs 30-0 and beat us 23-0. Both sides they beat where in the top 8 and in form. I remember the eels had just won 9 straight. Would they have won by that margin last night if we fielded the same team as the start of the year. I don't think so.
  • We simply were not up for that game last night.

Letting Milford run rings around us over and over, we didn't seem to want to stop the offloads which had us back peddling all night.

We played Broncos back into form.

    • Yes I agree. We helped them. We'll see if the Broncos can maintain it & build momentum from here on.

We played well in patches for about 65% of the game, but really poorly for the rest in the second half.

That was the best the Broncos have played for months. Milford might of sparked them , but the energy & enthusiasm they showed was admirable . Typified by the 2-3 kick long range chases & well executed kicks that forced drop outs.
  • Brisbane were terrbile we made them look good too many players playing out pisition getting caught in defence
  • That's what we do

"Need way more than that, majority of the players signed would be their depth. Even that is rubbish. As Johnny mentioned too, juniors will be hard to come by.
Look at their last two signings. Sorensen and Talakai. Sorensen is a fine signing for…"
