Eels Prop forward Issac Jim, 198cm 120kgs and only 19 , is set to make his debut for the Parramatta Nsw cup side in the Semi finals this weekend.  The James Fisher Harris look alike is part of a trio of future NRL giants, that will no doubt propel Eels forward stocks moving forward.

Already, 191cm, 117 kg Sam Tuivaiti (20) has  shown that he will be a mainstay in our NRL team, and then there's Australian Schoolboys prop Ryda Tualagi,  another young giant ony 18, and has already debut against men in Cup.

The future looks very good in the Prop position for the Eels. I think that is the reason Ryles has purchased the experience  of Jack Debelin who can take that space for the next year or two and offer these great prospects his knowledge and football nouse, and by then all three will most likely feature in our NRL team.

Also, Davvy Moale for around 350k would be a good pick up aswell. Those in the know have mentioned his athleticism and  potential moving forward.

I think if we get Moale, that would wrap up our forward signings for 2026, with another outside back signing most likely, especially if Simmonson leaves.

  • I don't rate Jim right now.

    • Yeah heard that from you before. He could be a late bloomer, 21-22 year old debutant.

      • He reminds me of Grieg. A big unit. But no footwork, no agility, can't repeat effort on effort and not much athleticism. Feel he isn't made for the modern game. T Brown and Talagi are better IMO

        • God he looks like Greig lol.

        • EA I was going to mention the samething he's a mirror of what Grieg was.If you haven't got lateral agility in the middle these days your done.If you haven't got a motor either your done if he's what you say he is EA roll the next guy up in here.

Repeat efforts is a good pick up because that's where I've seen Tuivaiti get exposed in the middle this year also.

Its kinda why I'm looking at middles in the 105-110 kg area with the leg speed. The Roosters and Canberra have these types of middles. That's the teams I've been watching the last 3 years how they are profiling and building there pack. They are very specific on heights weights and body types.

          • T Brown, Talagi, Popo, Petrus, Funa-Luta, Lokeni are my future middles to look out for

            • Polley also in about 3-4 years?

              • Yea I was ony looking at players in JF and up.

    • It could be that his muscle strength still hasn't caught up with his growth spurt, and being 198cm, its going to take longer for him.   But to be given the opportunity in cup, Ryles has seen something in him.

    • Hey EA what's the latest with Lincoln Fletcher?
