Luke (right) says he won't make a final decision on his future until after the Four Nations, but told the Sunday Star-Times last night: "I was a nobody until South Sydney found me. It's only fair that I stay with the club that helped me through the hard yards and really helped my family out.
"I wouldn't look past going to Parramatta because Mooks [Kearney] is there, but on the other hand, Souths are like my family now so it would be really hard for me to leave. I would think about playing my career out at Souths . . . my heart is with South Sydney."
It will be a significant blow for the Eels, who hope their recruitment of Kearney will make the club attractive to Maori and Polynesian players.
Luke is contracted to Souths for 2011 but the club want to extend and upgrade that deal until 2015.
The 23-year-old won the George Piggins Medal as the Rabbitohs' best and fairest earlier this month and was in contention for Dally M medal honours before a shoulder injury.
Wouldnt mind if he changed his mind and came over to parra :)

John Mannah re signed with the Sharks for similar reasons
Good luck to them
Take this season for example... Krisnan Inu, Feleti Mateo and Kris Keating we're all willing to stay for considerably less. Inu and Mateo weren't wanted, and KK had a contract offered that was less than what had been verbally agreed upon.
Then there's the senior players like Hindy and Burty who have regularly accepted less pay over the years.
