Follow my logic. The Storm, the Dogs, The Eagles and Rorters are the most despised teams in the comp. Some because they openly rort the cap others because only blind Freddy can't see that they do. However, these clubs are constantly playing finals football and for the most part have winning cultures.
Parra, on the other hand, are generally well liked. If you go to Brisbane, Newcastle and even NZ, there are heaps of Eels fans. All my mates (bar one) tell me that if they went for another team it would most likely be Parra.
Are we too nice? Does the comp view us as the soft and cuddlies?
Maybe if opposing fans start to view us as Salary Cap cheats, then they might start to put the hate on.
Perhaps that will increase the siege mentality around Pirtek. Maybe that might get us playing for one another.
