Is there something rotten in the state of denmark ?

What is going on ?  Is there something rotten in the Eels camp?

Is there something going on at a coach x player level which is resulting in our poor showing ?

I was at the round one defeat vs Dragons and I witnessed first hand the angst between Hayne and Grothe and I wondered then if there was some festering problems amongst the players and now I'm wondering if there is some festering problem between the Caoch and the players.

If they can't go out there and follow directions from Ando, then our season is over right now.

Does anybody else sense that something is rotten ?

I've put this in the trash blogs so I don't upset One Eyed Eel, but I bet I'm not the only genuine Parra Fan to be thinking like this. Am I ?

Regards

Kev

    • coconuts can be good...

      HARD
      WELL ROUNDED

but if they are left too long they can go sour !
    • lol yes they stick together in there own little group
  • I've said it many times tonight. I don't understand what the hell is going on. Maybe some internal bickering is the cause.

Stiffler and Kevin, are you guys being racist?
  • Okay, so I'm 6 foot 2, 120kg and Polynesian..... should I take offence at being called a "Coconut" guys or is it all in good fun?
  • No room for racist comments here boys.

Daneel, I'm sure its all in good fun. By the way, are you really that big!? We can do with you on the field :)
    • haha.. no not at all EelsAgeMe. Im just giving the guys the opportunity to explain their comments before I delete them. No racism will be tolerated here at all.

My point was that, if i am on this site, and polynesian, should i just take the coconut comment as light hearted, or take offence?
    • So you believe that saying too many coconuts in the team is acceptable?
      • Hey dan....relax....this may sound a little naive, but until you and eelsageme mentioned it, I had no idea that the word coconut was used in that way...CERTAINLY NO OFFENCE INTENDED FROM ME !!

        Kev
        • Not at all mate. Im not Polynesian so there was no intention to intimidate. I was making a point that anyone can be reading these comments.... I could have been a big Polynesian guy, who can handle himself, but it doesnt mean that I wont take offence to comments about "too many coconuts in the side".

Do you understand where I am coming from? So my question remains, do you think that saying too many coconuts in the side is acceptable?
  • well said
