  • Correct
  • only if one team is going for the ball over the try line.....and its the eels defending.....then she's a penalty and possible 8 week suspension.
  • Also the laying all over us in the tackles. Seems every other team does this to us and gets away with it. Or am I just hoping the can get up and play the ball quicker?
  • We did just as many hold downs. For fuck sake, we put up a big effort in the 1st half, & forgot about the 2nd half. Did the same thing against Broncos last week.

    • There's a difference between a hold down in general play and one where we lose all advantage and a potential try.
    • Yes Dunc, you may be right; the issue fans have is the amount of inconsistency in the game; Norman was sin binned against the Cows ages ago; it cost the game. Yes there are many more instances of this and no binning. Canberra did hold down a couple of times after we made a break, and not a thing. The advantage is lost. A 5 min bin is needed, as teams lose the advantage of the break made; team defence is re-set. The same as a penalty near a try line. There is becoming more of this as players do not get binned. If they were binned they would soon get the message along with the coaches.

We also see some Bunkers getting involved in knock-ons and not others? What is that?

  • Agree, whenever there was a line break they just gave a way a penalty and got reset
  • We got away with one when there hooker darted I'm pretty convinced it would have been a try as well and O'brian just grabbed him in no mans land
  • we did it too before half time to protect a lead, kenny edwards pulling down baptiste from being out of position at marker was the most blatant of the lot.

    a 5 minute bin is needed 2017

    • But would he have done it if the refs had sent one or more raiders to the sin bin. The point is the refs are allowing this to happen and it takes away the advantage of the line break and allows defending team to reset with a penalty only.
