We lost the Penalty count even though we dominated the game? I don’t think the hoodoo is broken. There just wasn’t much Perenara could do to screw us last night.
Yeah usually when a team is well on top they also get all the penalties. The only time I can remember that this wasn't the usual case was during the roosters deliberate on line defence penalties tactics a few years back, before they started sending players off to combat this roosters tactic.
Perenara certainly could have found a few penalties for us in that game. He chose not to. In another game with a different team and against us he "might" have found them.

We won a couple in the first couple of years he became head ref, but we had never won the penalty count
Ha ha, My son and I were talking about this today. I thought he turned the corner when he sent Paulo's try to bunker as a try.

Agree he was still as biased as all hell from where I sat

He tried.
But wasn't allowed to bone us.
A refreshing change from us.
Think it was more that we had the ball in hand so much there wasn’t opportunity for him. His call on the Junior try was a surprise.
Interesting Browny,
We used to predict a loss whenever Perenara was the ref and talk about the "Perenara Hoodoo".
Our winning percentage under him is now 44%.
Ours under Brad Arthur's is 46%.
Well I think David Munro and Chris Butler should referee our games moving forward
yes and hes a ex player too...
