Is the build up for Canterbury detrimental

I cant get it out of my head the lead up enjoyed by the Dogs for the game. The Wests Tigers accounted for them in the last home and away fixture admittedly minus Kimmorley. Their style of play however was based on a volume of off loads and second phase play. The following week I think they had arguably the easiest final which was compounded further by the Knights losing a couple of players early. The Eels in 2005 tread a similar path and were smacked in the Preliminary. I just feel we are battle hardened and have the style of open play to beat the Dogs.I also still have in my head the image of Fui Fui running over the top of Hennant in the first set of 6 last time we met and then the 78th minute when he scored.Any thoughts ?
