From my observations, I see TAHU as potentially our weakest link at the moment. He is not playing well in defence, often coming up empty when they are throwing decoy runners in the backline. His signature jam in and smash defence is still there but teams are aware of that are taking him out with clever out the back decoy runners and he is simply not reading it. This puts pressure on the wingers and the whole thing snowballs. He is not causing any pressure on opposition with his attack either. Whilst he is a great runner of the ball when in open space, he seems to be content on trying to run over the top of players these days.
I was worried when we resigned him that ' UNION ' had taken the best out of him and I am starting to think that this may be the case. For a ' world class ' centre, he is isnt delivering at the moment and I am worried that he may be our weakest link.
Thoughts anyone ?

He is a great athlete and when everything clicks with his hands and his timing he is an excitement machine but he sometimes goes through long periods where he plays poorly and doesn't do the simple things well.
I reckon he looks a little too bulky at the moment.
Weakest link - for mine , hands down its Cayless - just too slow and easy to tackle, rarely bends the opposing defense. In addition to the age factor - Cayless is simply a terrible Captain "on the field" - never takes charge when the chips are down, Cannot inspire individuals around him to play to the "Game Plan" when under pressure - look he never has, EVER been Captain Inspiration 'on the field' .....It is obvious that the "Game Plan" against the Sharks was to have a good start, with reduced penalties and turnovers. Well where was Cayless laying down the law as Parra's bad start unfolded.....................BTW - when has he EVER got fired up & LED the team when the chips are down. Look he always tries hard, but he's too slow now and gets tacked too easily & his captaincy DOESN'T work
Weakest Link #2 Keating at hooker - his decision making at times baffles the heck out me me - I think he has an intersting skill set but has a poor football IQ - a real dangerous combination. Eg during the bad start against the sharks Keating decides to pass the ball from dummy half but without looking at the ball runner, the pas is called forward at it's another brainless turnover - a 'no look pass' can be a good tactic when you are winning and wanting to maintain confidence - but when the ball is precious after 4 BAD starts - why ?? why that play THEN ?? makes no sense - BTW that is just one of many boneheaded decisions Keating does each weak.......
Parra really misses the high tempo games of Lowrie & Kingston, not just there speed but also their creativity - right now Parra (on attack) is pretty much the Fui Fui Moi Moi show - Hindmarsh offers nothing on attack & is too slow but his work rate on defense is still world class - Parra's forwards really need to FIRE UP.....c'mon Cayless, fire em up.....Cayless....Cayless...yes we're still waiting
Weakest Link #3 - Parra has NO kicker - it is obvious that neither Hayne or Mortimer had kicking on the last tackle responsibilities in junior football - this is the only explantaion that makes sense to why Parra's kicking game is probably the WORST or near worst in the NRL - BTW, what team kicks worse than Parra
Parra's kicks very very rarely have purpose and threaten opponents and what about forcing a line drop out occasionally ?? - maybe Luke Burt should kick - Burt has one of the highest football IQ's I have ever seen - I*'d rate him for "football brains" right up there with Sterlo , Wally. Langer and Daley - in term of football wareness etc
It's only trash when posts go too far and then all of a sudden starts getting personal.
Debate about players in a healthy respectful way should be encouraged!!!
