Watching SOO3 last night and I honestly thought Moses had a decent game. Kicked well, defended really well but was clearly playing understudy role in an established side and was over called by Wighton, Cook and Tedesco more often than not. He could have taken the line on more but overall he did his job.
The pure hatred for Moses on social media has astounded me. I understand people have preferences for different players, Tigers fans would never love him but the outrage and utter contempt for MM has shocked me.
Which has led me to question, is Moses the most hated player in the game?

  • I don't know about the most hated after last night's game but he would be the least tired as he didn't run at all.

  • Totally agree with your assessment of his game and the role he played tigers fans are the worst for bagging players and other clubs yet they are in my opinion the least knowledgeable of all footy fans.

Even a lot of parra fans don't like moses, I'm not a massive fan myself but I don't dislike him either. When you compare his first origin game to those of just about every half on debut in origin it stacks up pretty well stats wise.

Really people should have been rooting for him to have a good game instead hoping he would fail so they could rip in, after all if cleary is not available for origin over at any time over the next 5-6 years moses is more than likely to be his replacement unless some other young half steps up in the meantime.

    • Why are you not a fan? Just curious.

      • He is yet to step up and take control of a BIG game, he is too erratic (has improved a lot ) which leads to going foe the big play when he should be building pressure.

        • Fair enough.

    • Brissy, how great was Ado Carr? Bet he did not cop the vitriol of MM, for me, MM did quite well, but like the eels he's hated best way to put the outsiders down is for him to ensure he plays hard against the picks of the nose crop

    • They were waiting for him to fail, anything less than a two try, 3 try asdlst game was not going to cut it.

    • Agreed Brissy, it's a little tiresome to be honest.

  • No way! If he is its ridiculous

  • DCE was booed by his own fans. I think that answers the question.
