Can anyone tell me the role that mateo plays in our team?
As far as I can see he walks up to the defensive line, tries to squeeze out impossible passes to flat footed unsuspecting team mates, in beyween knock ons, drop balls, mistackles and other basic blunders
Free up the salary, keep Inu but mateo can try his luck at the Bulldogs, give me a head down arse up hard running no fear 110kg robot that won't constantly put his mates under pressure and go missing when we need a hard run out of our own 20!.

I have been a fan of Mateo's in the past but these 4 games in the opening rounds he has been poor - he is on a massive slump and is lazy but he isn't the only one!!
And suggesting he would be brilliant at 5/8....based on what??? his awesome pace? great kicking game? leadership behaviour??? He is lucky not to be lining up for Wenty, honestly he isn't gifted, he is lazy and lazy doesn't cut it, maybe basket ball is more his go, good luck getting anywhere near what his lasy contract cost us, istead of worrying about it, how abour earning it like Fui and hayne, DELIVER SOMETHING YOU OVER RATED SHOW PONY!!!
I like Horo, hungry for a go, hard running big unit, probably on $80k, and Mannah is doing well too.
Back rowers are the engine, the meter makers, Mateo looks for the cheap option ,, never hits it up with anger, rarely takes the first of 4 hit ups after we get the ball in our own 20.....next time we play watch how many times he puts his hand up to do the ugly stuff between out 10 metre line and the half way....never. He's a pretty boy who lacks mongrel and aggression.
