newcastle are prepared to move him on.....yes he has dodgy hammies but before the last setback he was starting to see pre-origin form coming back. he's 29 and maybe worth a year or 2, especially if newcastle have to move some freight,.

He is on the outer at Newcastle and I think the coach will be moving on a number of high profile Knights players in the off season. Very, very injury prone on par with Foran. He has a very good left to right passing game and decent kicking game. I suspect he is on very good money maybe around the 700K mark. As he turns 30 next year early in the season it would only be a short term fix. If Newcastle were paying a good chunk of his salary he could be a good short term fix. I'd prefer Mullen over Marshall, although it would be a lotto how many games we would see him on the park.
yeah no doubt you'd have to go through some detailed review of his medical position but if you can get him net the same coin if not slightly more than benji that's extremely good VFM
You spend too much time surfing the net! :)
He sounds like he has Foran's hammies. He may have an inherent problem that cannot be fixed, only managed. If he could return to 100% fitness he could be a very good support half to Norman. He probably has the best left to right passing game for a right half and could be dangerous with long cut out passes to French. Newcastle would have to pay a decent amount of his contract due to his history of injuries.
Mullen has the ability and talent to be a top tier half. He just cant stay on the field for long enough
I live up Newcastle way and there are rumours that a lot of high profile Newcastle players will be moved on for the coach to have a clean slate for 2017. I don't think we will see Uate, Snowden, Smith and Mullen at Newcastle next year. As we now know McManus and Rochow have already moved on. Mullen and Uate could come cheap?
