Is it to late for the cooling off period.

I cannot understand the logic behind the timing for resigning Brad Arthur. They come out saying no rush we are going to wait until June. The eels  have a reasonably good start to the year. It then starts to unravel we get absolutely pumped by Melbourne which was the biggest red flag my grandma would have picked up on and then boom the next week BA resigned for 2 years.

The performance tonight was at wooden spoon level and yet we will come out next week with exactly the same team bar sivo.

Just about every set the cowboys had tonight they were making around 70m giving them an attacking option at the end of every one.

How does this performance 2 weeks in a row strike confidence in a coach who won the spoon the previous year.

I have been a supporter of BA but at some point we need to say enough is enough.

Hopefully there is a cooling off period in his contract and they show him the door. Nothing against BA I'm sure he is a good guy but he is clearly not willing or capable to make the hard decisions that a good nrl coach needs to make.

  • Mate he will get another year extension after tonight.

  • Even if there is the dopes on the board won't do anything

Unless Penrith beat them next week then they'll add another 2 years to the deal.

    • If they win next week they’ll pay out his semi final bonus early and make his contract 5 years.

  • I hope there is a cooling off period too. Do they have those with coaches?

  • I was gob snacked after that thrashing we copped off the Storm, he then gets rewarded with a contract??? The Fong seems on the money when he says the club is run by muppets.
