Is it an atttitude thing

Over the last year or 2 I think you could go back and tell after our 1st set or 2 in defence whether we are switched on Not switched on we loose and often get smashed . Today we got dominated and look at the half time score

Is this an attitude thing?

  • No Craig. Ball possession is king (see my blog).
    • Dave but how is getting dominated in the 1st 3 or 4 sets up the middle have anything to do with possession.the Roosters forwards smashed us in the 1st few sets

  • Only amongst the supporters Craig
  • no, it is a shit game plan and players like Aavou who should get sent back to souths.

  • 100% agree with that. 0 line speed and tackles not sticking
  • Gutho to centre French is by far a better full back
  • When you give so much ball to the opposition it drains the tank very quickly and you can't recover.  The Roosters completed 20 sets in the first half and we completed 5 sets.  NO team can win when they only have 36% of the ball, no team.  Possession is King!

    • Agree completely possession is the king in todays game But it doesnt excuse getting dominated up the middle in the 1st 10 when we are fresh

  • Yes it is at our best we are great defensively at our worse today happens defense relects attitude
  • We need the stable strong smarts of Cooper Cronk for one or two seasons to lead our squad between the ears. We don't have such a player on our books. Bring Cronk to lead Norman, Gutho, Moses and co for one or two seasons and let them learn everything from Cronk before he retires. And we need to keep Semi. Roosters have big, fast, strong athletic wingers, centres and forwards and a spine full of gutsy strong pocket battleships. We are not far off but we are not yet in the same class. We still need to buy two big powerful mobile props and one winger and center emulating something similar to what the Roosters currently have in their outside backs and we have the cap space and lots of 2017 off contract players to make all this happen. We need a real tough smart and classy general. We currently do not have one.
