I think after looking at oppositions fullbacks Hoppe may be the worst
Broncos: Boyd when he comes back, Clive Churchill Medallist and Australian and QLD player.
Bulldogs: Bret Morris a revalation in fullback playing amazing, carved us up in round 2
Canberra: Jack Wighton one of the rare masterstrokes by Ricky Stuart he has elite speed and constant threat in attack to go with great Defence.
Dragons: Josh Dugan one of the best in the game , injury prone but when he is one of the best kick returns and tackle breakers in the game.
Manly: Bret Stewart great ball skills, amazing pace great support play who scores many tries.
Sharks: Valentine Holmes, one of the stars of the future , great talent who constantly threatens the opposition.
Knights: Kurt Gidley not as good as he was 5 years ago but still classy player.Cowboys: Morgan/ Coote, Morgan was killing it at fullback last year he was amazing pace but now in the halves. Coote haven't seen enough in recent times to make a judgement.
Tigers: James Tedesco, an absolute burner causes many issues with defences with his speed and has a great sense of finding the try line.
Warriors: Sam Tompkins a very dangerous attacking player with great ball skills and kick returned fullback for England.
Rabbitohs: Greg Inglis probably the hardest bloke to tackle 1 on 1 all round star one of the games best.
Titans: William Zillman/ Josh Hoffman both are dynamic ball runners and great in D both are very underrated.
Panthers: Matt Moylan, one the best ball playing fullbacks great agility and comes up with many big plays in crucial times. Stars of the future.
Storm: Billy Slater still the best fullback in the NRL, best positional player as fullback, amazing support player and great acceleration.
Roosters: Roger-Tuivasea Scheck, best stepper in the NRL, immense talent , great of kick returns and great upper body strength.
Honestly from that list above can you say Hoppe is better then any of the ones listed above. Probably Coote . I expect many people to disagree with me but if you actually watch what other fullbacks bring to the table for their teams in comparison to Hoppa its obvious he is the worst. Don't say he is new to that position Morris. RTS and Wighton are new to but offer way more in attack then Hoppa.

they are all game breakers. My fiance has commented that she hates Hoppa at fullback and she doesnt even understand. Even at centre he is averge.
What do you think of Michael gordon from the sharks if he is available?
Broncs one is worse, because you cant compare Hoppa to Darius when hes not even playing.
Should we give Davis or French a go? Wasnt too impressed by either yesterday, but everyone who comes into FG has played better.
I would sign hop to a Wentworthville contract as a back up at best.

The fact we aren't winning every one looks for reasons and hopoate is an easy target because he hasn't been brilliant. The fact is though it's a game of inches and if hoppa is able to ground that ball late in the first half we probably go on and win and hoppa would probably be getting a wrap for a solid game.
Knights also have Sione Mata'uia as well who is better then Hoppe.
