Is Hayne still a full back

All things going as planned and Hayne lands home is his best position at 1. Been away from game for awhile and is older and different body type. If not where is best position with our roster in mind.

    • Is Hayne still a Rugby League player?  Lots of questions.  What is his next dream?

  • No, a great centre.

Gutherson will be a fantastic fullback.

    • Whilst Gutho is a better FB than centre, you'd be crazy to put Hayne on one side of the field..

      Name one centre on 800K+

      No way it happens
  • He'll still have the required pace considered he'll be doning the nfl thigh pads and ball box !
  • Hopefully his next dream is a nrl premiership with the eels

  • I don't think we need him back
I think the money would be better off spent on a couple of players in others key positions
    We have options at 1
    We have a great 6
Wings are covered (not that you would play him there anyway)
Maybe at centre but it's a lot of money tied up in the centres (Jennings as well)
We need a good 7 and another 8 or 10
    IMO
    Let Hayne keep dreaming
  • Ask Thorpie.
    • Yeah cause he says its FULLY SICK!!!
  • Yes, he was the best when he left and no one has come close since.
  • Pretty sure this question has been asked many times. Yes, he is a fullback and a world class one at that. He has played 5/8 and went ok at best. Hayne running his sweeping plays out the back and throwing a cut out pass to the winger is what he does best. It might take a few games for him to get used to it again but he is a world class athlete and more so a world class fullback.

"Need way more than that, majority of the players signed would be their depth. Even that is rubbish. As Johnny mentioned too, juniors will be hard to come by.
Look at their last two signings. Sorensen and Talakai. Sorensen is a fine signing for…"

"Precisely. Just makes me think someone at NRL HQ - and we all know who - got a very large suitcase of cash from the WA state government for agreeing to this. "
