Is cheating a platform for premiership success?

Bulldogs cheated in 2002 - premiership 2004

Storm cheated in 2009 - premiership 2012

Parra cheated in 2016 - ????

If you get caught - big deal!!! You now have a spine to build on!!! You only have to shed a few players, obviously not Foz, Jennings and Scott.

No wonder cheating is the way to go!!! NRL can't do anything about 2017, 2018, 2019 and so on......

  • Dont Forget the Broncos and Cowboys.... (Not saying they cheated)

  • Its not whether you win or lose its how you play the game.

    • Sorry Wedge - that principle went down on Noah's Ark and has never been found since.

It is about the $s a GF trophy can bring to a club.

I once heard a commentator say at the Olympic Games - If you can win a Gold Medal at the Olympics you are guaranteed a $ million income from sponsorship deals.

  • I'd say numerous clubs are cheating, don't mean they all have something to show for it but. Even if you cheat, some other club is gonna have more connections to out cheat you.

  • I would say that over the last 25 every winner bar 2 or 3 team have been over the cap..... Even as far back as 89 GF. Canberra were found to have cheated the cap and nothing was done. That team back then was $1 million over the cap  - and the cap was only $1 mil.... they spent $2 mil. Go figure.

What about the dogs over the cap loose all points in 2002  then with the exact team win the comp.... WHAT!!!

I cant believe more people didn't blow up back then. Plus there was no TPA's

  • Slip , can you change your newest Tagline please . Every time I read it it screams peodophile lol .

"De Belin will do a lot of the clean up work, the 3rd man in for our defence. Hopgood is now not alone in that area. He will not be flashy but he will definately do his job."

"positives are Loiero is out. That is a big piece of their middle, he does a lot of clean up work in defence, tightens up the attack. No Katoa and they are umming and arring whether to play Ativalu Lasati or Joe Chan on right edge.
This is a prime to…"
