Is Brad Arthur Doing Enough

Well it will be a hot topic in the coming weeks, Will our coach Brad Arthur be resigned or let go. This will be a massive decision for our club and our team. Player caeers will be altered no matter which decision is made, thats for sure. The signs of a competitive Eels team are there for all to see at this early stage, and you can see well coached formations in attack and defence emerging. It's well documented that i favour resigning Brad Arthur, but i can appreciate other peoples views on the back of a dark 2018. If the board choose not to sign Brad, do we risk our 2019 campaign. It could all fall apart if Arthur believed the board didnt want him to stay. You could imagine Arthur would have no choice but to start looking at other options, at other clubs, would he still be able to give 100% to our footy team for the remainder of the year. What of the players that want to play under Arthur, would they stay or would they go,it could become a media circus and distract our season.

Of course im writing this in the early stages of the season, and all is well. The media narrative is about an Eels resurgence etc etc, but it will become a major issue within the next 3 - 6 weeks thats for certain. When you think about it, there really isnt a lot of time left before it has the potential to distract our team. So what do fans think. Do we resign him or not.

  • Rhetorical question...

  •  One would think so !

I just read A new Team is Born, sorry guys if this post is a double up of sorts. I hadnt followed electric eels post

  • It would be silly not to extend Brad Arthur's contract. I think hes doing a good job and has been for awhile.

  • I’ve seen enough. Extend him now.

    • At the very least we should be having the conversation with him.

  • He’s started the year well & he’s got us doing the opposite to last year. Shows how much a proper coaching staff & a few signings does. He is definitely stepping in the right direction for a new deal

    • I just herd Paul Kent on triple m that he thinks parramatta will not make the 8 cause they have only played injury plague sides, so brad Arthur id proberly cut ties with him and get Tim sheens here ASAP pay him what he wants.

      • Well if Kunt says we are not going to make it, then we should write off the season and start preparing for next season nice and early before everyone else.

This is the same dope who will put the boot into PARRA whenever he gets an opportunity, and said the puppies will turn the tide after their R1 loss and smash us in R2 and was probably the only person other than puppies supporters to tip them to beat us.

I'd rather take the advise from whoever is behind the Momo challenge than this dope.

      • That c*nt Kent was the only person tipping the Dogs to do us.

      • Obviously Kent hasn't watched Parra play. Once we get settled into the season we can beat anybody. I think the only team playing better than us st the moment is Easts.
