Is Bennett running scared?

Wayne Bennett has been talking tough as the Dragons face up to the Eels, claiming he can shut down Jarryd Hayne and that his team will turn their form around, however other comments suggest the Dragons coach is running scared.Bennett was highly critical of the McIntyre System this week, seemingly because it could result in his team playing the Eels in the first week of the finals."At the moment you could finish first and play eighth and eighth could be a better team right now than second or third. The reward is not good enough," he said.I wonder which team he was referring to?Bennett also seemed like he was already preparing to face the press corp as a loser, when he said: "Winning is not our priority, right now a good performance is our priority. We are in a wonderful (ladder) position, so it's not a case of win at all costs."Is Wayne Bennett scared of the Eels? Too bloody right!

    Mr Bennet Wayne Bennett has one of the best winning percentages, ranks second in the number of premierships won as a coach at an elite level and has won coach of the year numerous times. http://www.celebrityspeakers.com.au/brspeaker_bio.asp?Speaker_Index...
    He doesn't scare easily but he seems realistic enough to see that this might not be his week. I think he's right.
