Nope, didn't even flinch. The iceman delivers again.
Sorry, Jarryd and Mr Beavis, no kings ransom to be found at the eels these days. A team has been built.
I'm not overly fazed if Jarryd doesn't come back, another big risk to pay a player $1.2m and he starts hearing gods voice again after round 10, telling him his true calling is as a formula one driver in Monaco.
Triple M interview below.
Asked if he felt nervous after seeing photos of Hayne meeting with the ARU, Parramatta coach Brad Arthur : "That's fine. We're really happy with our list and our squad moving forward and if Jarryd wants to be part of that, that's great.
"If he doesn't, he's got to do what's best for Jarryd."
Eels star playmaker Kieran Foran has asked for a release from the final three years of his deal, potentially creating salary cap space for the recruitment of Hayne.
In 2012, the Eels and the NRL bungled a deal to get Israel Folau, who had just finished a stint in the AFL to the club, but Arthur said he didn't have any fears if the club missed out on a blue-chip player this time around with Hayne.
"I think it's a big moment for Jarryd and what he wants to do for the rest of his career," Arthur said.
"If he doesn't want to play rugby league, there's no point anyone trying to force him."

BA got Dis!!!
I share BA's thoughts on Hayne, I would welcome him back with open arms but will not be devastated if he chooses another path, I would hate to see him play against the eels and would rather him go to Union than another NRL club but it will be what it will be.
Good summary... great if he comes back but at the same time, far from shattered if he doesn't.
Because you are correct and we don't want or need to go back to a one man team approach. I want Hayne back, but not on overs!
Three new board members are in place.
The priority is to get Hayne to the eels.
The NRL war chest is locked, but the eels are looking to secure outside the cap revenue.
Do we want Hayne back at the eels? Most say yes according to the poll on here, but I'm not sold at all.
I hope not Steve, I hope that the priority is to finalise the extension of BA's contract. Princess can wait.
