Yeah agree, the timelines wouldn't have worked. We need roster changes but Step 1 for us is clearing out unwanted players to free up some cash...until that has happened we can't seriously talk to any outsiders.
I don't think we were ever in the hunt for Iro, I reckon it was just media crap and fans bringing out their wishlists.
